Godzilla and Unit-01 will face off during a joint attraction at the Universal Studios Japan theme park in Osaka next year. The exact form of the attraction is still under wraps but the gigantic pair's confrontation is scheduled to start on May 31, 2019 and run until August 25, 2019 as part of the annual "Cool Japan" attractions.

The Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) announced on Tuesday that it will grant a Career Achievement Award to anime director Hayao Miayazaki. The organization's annual awards dinner will take place at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California on January 12.
