We have recently discovered that to be in compliance with GDPR—an EU law regarding data protection and privacy that went into effect last year—we must also apply these privacy mandates to characters. As we try to navigate the legal implications of displaying character names and images without their guardians' permission, we have hidden all character images and names in our databases.
