Production company Kadokawa revealed at its Anime Expo booth on Sunday that there is a "Steins;Gate World Line Project" launching in the "2018-2019" timeframe. Kadokawa showed a teaser with the Steins;Gate 0 logo and the characters Rintarō Okabe and Mayuri Shiina (in her Steins;Gate 0 outfit) standing before the devastated original Radio Kaikan building with the crashed satellite. The video teased the Beta world line where Rintarō could not save "her" and "the gate to 'Zero' will be opened." The company will reveal more information on July 28 — a date crucial to the story.
